Used would have totally do.

Problem is I'm already dealing with a forum member and still trying to figure out if the guy is a scammer, an idiot or a mess. He asked me 20$ for nuts that are not coming, I'd prefer to clean this issue before spending anymore. I'll PM you once I've sorted the situation out.
Thanks.

Go buy them at Ace Hardware. There nothing special about them. Just a locking flange nut (crush nut) They cost Like .60 cents or so apiece last I bought some.

There's more to those nuts than just the locking flange. Inside, the threaded hole is not perfectly round, it's somewhat triangular, to provide mechanical grip. They're just like "stove nuts", except the hole it more triangular than oval.

I have no qualms being **** on this, the crankcase it the last place I want something to get loose.

Prior to posting I did search hard for a local source and couldn't find any.
Fastener specialist here don't sell car-related fasteners, and car part sellers just don't sell them.
I have this GM Part # 11609746, and it didn't matched their database.
I checked with performance-focused garage in case they had some in their part bin.
Even the parts department of the local big GM dealer was clueless *facepalm*

Since I was reluctant to crack open an junkyard engine just for 2 bolt I resorted asking here, thinking I would get better price the only US store I could find.
You wouldn't believe how expensive shipping can be for us, USA direct neighbor. So close yet so far.

Surely it wouldn't have costed $20 USD (which tranlastes roughly to half a million Canadian pesos) but at least there was someone willing to help and I like the idea of recycling, so I went with it.
Little I know I would never get anything in return.

Still I appreciate you're getting interested in my post and willing to provide advises, thank you.

ARP uses a locking flange nut on their main studs. pn#200-8683 Locking flange nuts are cheap. They come in all sizes. If your hell bent on spending money on a simple nut buy ARP. If you want GM Branded buy from these guys $1.80 a piece maybe they could even ship them to you CHEVROLET PERFORMANCE 11609746 LS WINDAGE TRAY NUTS

Rockauto, Jegs, and Summit also has the GM nuts. Surely one of those guys will ship to you.
