Need a shortblock that works with all my 98 LS1 camaro parts. I can hopefully find something with bigger cubes and newer or newly rebuilt but will take all offers as long as it works with my parts. Located in NJ, want to try to not pay any shipping.

nobody's got a shortblock out there? What about any bare blocks less then 600?

I have a sdpc 402 c.i. shortblock never used. It has the 24x reluctor so you can use your ls1 computer. I have it for sale in the lsx parts for sale section. I can ship since I still have the shipping crate and the shipping stand. Look in the thread for the price. I think I have it for $3,400 which is $1,000 less then you get it from sdpc.

I saw that block earlier today and was tempted but something kept me from buying it, I don't know. It sounds like a great deal I can't figure out why people are posting but no one has put up cash yet.

Man, I wish I woulda seen this 20 min ago, I wanted the 402 badly but couldn't put up the cash for them. Unfortunately I already sent money for a new block. I got a PM about 5 hours ago and have been talking to the guy, He's shipping me a brand new LS6 block with a polished crank out of a truck GEN III, Forged rods and pistons, ARP bolts, etc. etc. should be a good base for some serious power adders!
