Which pin on the PCM is connected to the Alternator wire?

Which pin on the PCM is connected to the Alternator wire? I have been told that the small wire on the top of the alternator runs straight to the PCM. Can anyone tell me what Pin # it is on the PCM. I am throwing a p1637 code and am just trying to check some things. Thanks in advance.

Re: Which pin on the PCM is connected to the Alternator wire? Well I think its pin 15 on the red connector(also a red wire), but I am a little confused since the wire coming from the alternator is black. I guess I thought I would be looking for a black wire. Is this correct?

I don't know which PCM wire it is, but I do know that small wire coming off the alternator commonly breaks since it's all alone without much support. Check for breaks in the wire close to the alternator; that's where the stress is. Also, the metal conductor inside can break before the outer plastic insulation does, making the wire appear normal.

Thanks for the reply Cal, I originally broke that wire while installing a new motor mount. I fixed it with a whole new weatherpack connector with the wire already installed. The new wire was a much larger than the original wire. I soldered the two together and heat shrunk it all together. The wire is fixed but I still have a pending
P1637 code every time I ATAP the car. My car charges OK but I just replaced the alternator and the problem still persists. Do you have any idea what it could be. These little electrical gremlins drive me crazy!
