I will be swapping a LQ4 from a 05 chevy into my 86 monte carlo and I was wondering if it is possible to disable the theft system and how I should go about doing that. I will not have a BCM or do not have the key that went with it, so using a remote start bypass is out of the question. I have a tech 2 at the college I go to so that would be the easiest method for me if that is even possible. Please let me know. Thanks

Most of the tuning software will do it, The Tech2 will not, unless you can find a stock file that would run your motor, that came without the VATS enabled

Are you sure they can disable passlock 2? that is what the 2005 chevy trucks came with.
