Default How to Diagnose Knock???

I recently A-tapped my car and I am picking up 2-3* of knock retard at WOT. How should I go about solving this problem? What usually causes the knock sensors to detect knock. I already tried higher octane gas(sunoco 94 + outlaw Octane boost) that has not helped. Any ideas?

Take a look at your 02 values that should be some indication to whether the knock is genuine or not. I also had the same problem and started tracking it down and though maybe it was false but my o2 banks were telling me the car is going lean in the higher RPM range and that is where i am getting about 4* KR

mine must be false knock because my 02's on atap show .90-.94 and im getting 3.4-2KR at WOT

but you can fix it by pullin timing or if the cars running lean, just add fuel in those rpms.

but it could just be false knock.

but even if it is false knock doesn't the pcm still pull timing out of the motor? So basically the problem is related to my O2's (maybe they are fouled) or it is a false knock reading.

The car was tuned by Mikey at rapidmotors sports in may and he said there wasn't any knock during the dyno runs. I did recieve a 02 code once but I cleared it and it never came back so I ignored it. What do you think? I would hate to spend the money on new 02's and that not be the problem. The 02's in the car are only about 5000 miles old.
