Guys who have modded their injector offset values...
Guys who have modded their injector offset values... Right now, I'm still running the PCM's stock injector offset values with the SVO 42# injectors. I'm seeing about an 8% difference between part throttle(-5%) and idle(+3%) LTerms.
I have my tune about 90% done. All I need to tweek is the WOT A/F ratio and a little timing here and there. Other than that it runs great. All the hot start issues, bucking, wanting to die, ect are gone.
Question is, if I now change the injector offset values, will this throw off most of the other changes I have made?
Specifically:
PE vs. RPM
Main VE(for cam)
Injector Flow Rates
Running Airflow(for cam)*
Park Position Airflow(for cam)*
P/N Airflow Decay(for cam)*
* I dont think the changed offset will affect this, but I'm not sure
I knew I should have listened to probably the most important piece of advice I was told.... "Install and tune the injectors first, before putting on the sc." Probably would have saved me a lot of time invested.
