sct hand held

I bought an sct hand held because thats what the shop that i go ti uses. I have a couple of questions. I want to be able to tune my own car understand its hard but am more than willing to learn and pay $$ for my mistakes if any occur. Was wondering how you get tunes from sct if anyone knows. I was also wondering if I should get the tuning software from sct for the tuner or if I should sell the tuner and by something else like efi live or ls1 edit? any ideas or recommendations guys would be awesome.

If you're willing to learn, the stickies at the top of this forum are a great place to start. Also, the links in my sig have a lot of great info covering tuning topics and specifics using EFILive.

Since you already have the SCT hardware, you can buy the software, and tune the vehicle yourself. You will spend less on the software than buying efilive or edit.
