VSS output on E38
VSS output on E38 I am getting ready to put an L92 in my car, and would like to run the stock E38. But looking at the ECM pinout, I do not see a VSS output. Tach yes, VSS no. I have heard that the VSS is only communicated on CAN/LAN messaging. Anybody know how to make this work? Is noticed that not all the pins are labeled, so maybe it's a pin that is not normally used on a truck or Vette?
He is talking about the vehicle speed sensor output. I think the LS7 uses the E38, and if it does the VSS output would be on pin 57 of C1.

I am contemplating my next motor.. The LT1 has been together for all of 500 miles.. time to take it up a notch.. I am only making 350-375 HP at best, and I know what a GenIII of GenIV motor will do for me so...
I have an LS2 block, crank, heads... and LS3 heads and intake. I came across a guy itching to get rid on an L92, but by the time I was ready to buy it, the itch was gone, and his price went up. If I went with the L92, I would have ended up using the E38. but since the crank is not even in the block yet I'll probably just revert to a 24x wheel and run it on an older controller.
