WOT 2-3 will not shift hits limiter
WOT 2-3 will not shift hits limiter I have a 2002 T/A with a 4l80e swap done. I have about 1k miles on it or so. Since the swap i cannot get the 2-3 shift at WOT to shift. It runs all into the limiter. I have put my shift points all up, down, left and right, same with MPH. It still hits the limiter. I checked the transmission speed per the ouput RPMX60(rev.mile) and i am within .3 MPH. Only mods are exhaust, airlid and stall(3400).
Had similar issues with a 4L80 swap once and never could get it right before the owner decided to put a manual valve body in it. It would skip right to second gear as soon as the car moved. Wish I could have found out if it was in the tune or something mechanical in the trans doing it. I had put a 4L80 transmission segment into the F-Body tune - is that what you did??
i will try this later when the roads clear a bit. I would like it to work the correct way though and shift with RPM/MPH. Not just MPH, but i would settle for that right now. I just wonder if it is tune or transmission related??
