The map sensor is located on the back of the intake, as a technician in a dealership i would recommend that you use a GM map sensor. I have seen multiple cases where people come in and have all this aftermarket stuff bought from autozone or napa and the stuff most of the time is bad. I recomend using the GM parts.
jsut my two cents

can you look at your short term fuel trims for bank 1 and bank 2? if so. see if the vehicle is running slightly lean. if so you need to look for any vacuum leaks. look at the pcv hose i have seen a few of those recently. if there is a lean condition such as a vacuum leak it will set this code. check for any type o unmetered airflow into the engine. if you dont know what i mean by unmetered airflow im talking about from the MAF sensor to the Intake valves any air getting in anywhere along there could cause this light. i dont see it to be real common that these MAP sensors fail but who knows thats also a possibility.
