Setting up Sock ECU/harness as "Standalone" Hello Gents!
as I have been getting into this motor swap, I've been finding so much information on this website.. its unreal..
But there is one thing that i cant seem to find, is there a Guide/website/build thread/etc that i could look at to see how people have "Stripped" the Stock Engine harness in a swap?
Basically what I'm aiming for is making the ECU run just the motor in an old 75 Caprice.
i have already removed the transmission/AC Connections from the harness, But I'm wondering if there is more that i could remove, or if i need all connections that are left.
Also, one last thing.. Is the ECU pin out the same between a 2004 ExpressVan with a LQ4, and a 2004 Hummer with a LQ4?
