new MAF question
imagine like this...you have a sensor in a 1" opening and it's calibrated that at X velocity of the air you should get Y number of cfm...but if you use the same sensor in a 2" opening and it's reading X velocity it still only thinks your getting y number of cfm when your really pulling MORE CFM thus making more power...thus making hurting your transmission cause it is not upping the line pressure as it should for the clutches to hold and your basically causing premature failure of the transmission clutches, etc.
