Default Flashing A4 to M6

What do I need to give the dealer to flash my A4 pcm to a t56? I have a friend that works at a dealer that will do it for me, I just need toi know if he would need anything else such as a vin from a t56 car or how they do it. Thanks!

Can they tweak anythign else, or just flash it straight to a M6 setting?

So it just gives them the option as to flash in manual or auto regardless of current pcm flash?

On mine I used a vin from a M6 car. That was all they needed, had it done at a parts house that did it. Merv, to my knowledge, they can't tweak much at all. (I think tire sizes, maybe rear gears) but I'm not sure. After I was up and running, I got HPTuners. Love it.

The dealership can only flash stock OEM files from the database they have. What I recommend is have them flahs the M6 file onto your car, then read it and copy you A4 table to the M6 file (ie: VE, MAF, Timing, etc ...).
