O2 Sensor extension
O2 Sensor extension A friend of mine has a 2004 GTo that he recently gave me a O2 extension to use on my f body harness. Why on earth would these sensors need to be different? They are both 4 wire square plugs.. but there are little tabs blocking he gto one from goign in. Can i just remove those tabs and use this extension? Or is there a leget reason as to why this plug wont work and thats why the tabs are there?

I know I have 2 different styles.. that wasnt a question. Why would they change them to not fit? To sell more stupid extensions?

My statement was to get you to identify what you actually have, not to inform you that you have different colors. It's hard to tell you what to do with what you have without knowing for sure what it is that you actually have. I do not think that GM's change of connectors has anything to do with selling extensions...
