Weird MAP problem.. P0106

Weird MAP problem.. P0106 Ok, I get the new H/C packed finished up the other night and the car runs/drives fine.. but I keep getting a 0106 map sensor performance code. I can monitor the MAP sensor and it is showing about 9 lbs (2.8v) at idle and goes up/down as a drive the car or rev the engine. What threshold must be met to fire the 0106 code?
btw.. the scanner I was using didn't give the reading in Kpa or in/Hg.. only lbs. So, 9 lbs is below the atomospheric of 14.7lbs so it is showing vaccum and the value increases at WOT so that tells me that it is responding to a higher pressure in the intake.

Re: Weird MAP problem.. P0106 Ok, went outside and worked my hand back there.. took the map sensor out.. cleaned the oil off it (not much on it) and made sure it was seated good and all connections are made.
Now, since I've been searching around.. I have came across a couple of post that said a large cam would cause a 0106 code.. is this true?
