By paying 200 bucks to "upgrade", am I getting the standard or the professional version? Also it says that I will not get any credits, so I will have to pay an additional 100 dollars for two credits to purchase the 2 bar / 3 bar enhancement? Can someone shed some light on this for me please.

 

Pro version and yes the upgrade does not come with any additional credits, all of your current licenses carry over but no free licenses are added to your account.

Open you file, and click the OS button, and see if it says "available" next to the 2 bar sd button.
I don't know anything about the serial version, so I don't know for sure if you can use a custom OS with one, but I would think so. It's a change to the OS in the PCM and really has nothing to do with the tool.

Lemme know if ya need a base file.

 

So I just have to use the re write entire on to chance the os in the pcm and I'll be able to take advantage of the 2 bar OS with my serial version. That appeared to have worked. Any chance I can get a base file for the GT70 setup Ed, you have my n/a tune

 

Operating system enhancements MUST go through your customer login page for serial interface users, the process is explained on the order upgrades page.

 

Just email me your file after you've applied the OS. Am I dyno tuning it too? Or just doing a mail order?
