Tuners come in... tune swap question. I have a question that I need answering and I am sure it can be done. I have a buddy of mine that has a 2001 ss camaro six speed that is cam only and bolt ons and he has just bought a 98 camaro auto for his wife. He is putting a turbo system on his car and we are changing the cam to a blower friendy cam. Here is my question: Can I get the tune swapped from his car to his wife's car since his old cam is going in his wifes car then just get his pcm tuned for the turbo and new cam? Would I have to change anything because I know the 98 cars were harder to tune.
yeah it will work but because of the pcm being differnt you will
need to put both tunes on compare and manually swap the changes in
the tables. may take a little massaging for the differnces in the cars
ls1 vs ls6 intake, bolt ons, gears etc. but should get you pretty close.
