Default PCM Tuner for a 98 WS6 T/A

Okay,
I've attempted all the research I could but, does anyone have an reliable info regarding 98 PCM Tuners what I should be looking at. This will be next after the long tubes, I've noticed SLP PCM Tuner but, am unsure of what to purchase or some recommendations. Anyone have any help with this for me?

Thanks,
Steve

OP... are you asking about a 'hand held' programmer like the Diablo Predator, Hypertech, and others that just plug-in like a scanner/code reader?

If so, I don't believe there are any available for '97-'98 LS1s. You must use a software based tuning program via a laptop/PC, like the HPTuners and EFILive mentioned here.

Anything that would work is what I am looking at. I pretty much realized that plug and play is non-existant with 98's. Labtop is fine just wanted to get and idea of where to look.

I have worked with both EFI Live and HP Tuners and I think that is a toss up.
I really don't have any complaints about either other than I prefer the setup of EFI Live and I think their Scan tool is way ahead of the HP Tuners version. Just my $.02.
