The injectors shouldnt have made a difference in MPG unless your tune didnt include them. To my understanding, a larger injector needs to stay open for less time since it can spray more fuel. If your car thinks that it has 28 pounders then it will keep the injector open for the length of time a 28# needed to supply it with the correct fuel. Assuming the rail pressure didnt change, then keeping the new injector open for the same length of time would result in a crap load more fuel being dumped in... and most likely a bad running car. I just read about this last night in Greg Banish's book.
