Cold weather, or bad MAF?

Default Cold weather, or bad MAF?

I'm rolling in a 1998 TA with full exhaust and LS6 Intake. It's a normal bolt on 6 spd with gears.

The last few days it's been 30-40 degrees, and we've been out racing. On my 2nd-3rd shift, I shift hard, lift for a sec and chirp third. Last three times out of 4 I've been out, it throws a MAF voltage code on the high RPMs.

Is it normal for a stock cam car to come close to pegging the MAF? The car only makes 350 to the wheels.

I'm open to suggestions, but I'm going to borrow a MAF from the parts sto tomorrow and clear the code.

you should not be pegging the MAF with 350rwhp

Its only between shifts. I don't have a ported TB or anything like that, and it only does it in cold temps.

I cleaned it and retained the problem.

My injectors probably shouldn't be at 92% duty cycle, either, huh?

92% sound about right for the injectors in cold weather.

do you have any logs of what happens during shifts?

My tuner logged them on HPT.
