Re: Anyone tried the stage 2 chip? The chips for our cars suck. They are pretty much useless. I have seen a post on here about some one who tried a chip and LOST performance. A guy I new in high school got one of these chips for his car( dont knwo if it was a stage 2 or not)I raced him when my car was stock exepect for free mods and beat him. He car wasnt any faster.

Re: Anyone tried the stage 2 chip? An LS1 PCM doesn't have a removable E-prom chip. Jet can call their programmer (a lame excuse for one) a chip if they want, but it isn't.
See, we have programmable computers. You want changes, you reprogram. You don't replace a "chip" since there is not one to replace (and I've replaced a few in other vehicles over the years.)
