T2 cam (232/234 .595/.598) 112lsa

I have a friend that had his car tuned and he has full boltons and AFR 205's. Well it tuned and its isn't running that great. The A/F is good but its throwing codes and drivability sucks and they say its because of the cam? Doesn't make since to me. It not a crazy cam. Was also told they hate tuning cars with the T2 cam. Ive never herd this b4 and many tuners Ive talked to say that cam has nothing to do with it. Was also told that if they have a car show up at there shop with T2 cam they will not tune it because its suck a pain i nthe ***. WTF? But they can tune a car with TFS heads and a 240ish/250ish cam with no problems? LOL

Sounds like that shop needs to hire a new tuner. If I were your buddy, I'd ask for some of my money back.

 

tuner doesnt know what hes doing. My torquer 2 w/ ls6 heads drives fine with a th400.

 

This shops is a sponsor and a good one too and im not going to say who it is yet. They have tuned many 500whp 346ci car. They might fly back to hawaii and tune on the car some more. I just dont get why they hate the T2 cam so much! People on island pre pay and if they get enough cars they fly out to tune everyone's car.
