Quick dyno/afr question
If you run a tune on the street and see a flat 12.6:1 afr (LM-1) and then strap it on a Dynojet, will the afr on the dyno be leaner or richer?
I know that the load will be higher on the street, so I would think that the dyno would be richer, but I'm not sure.
Any opinions?

It should be richer because the dynojet has a lot less load than the street. Now if it was eddy current dyno (mustang, etc) then it should be fairly close.

Now, is there any way to estimate the afr increase if tuning is done on a dyno, and then driving it on the street. Say, tuning it to 12.4 on a Dynojet248 and then running it at WOT on the street/track.

they say that you`ll be a half a point leaner on the street so if your 12.5 on the dyno youd be 13.0 on the street. but thats just what i`ve heard. but it realy depends on how the dynos set up the calibration can be made to account for the extra load on the street
