Hey guys. Drove my Cutlass a bit last night and seem to have a few issues. The tune is not spot on, however it is driveable. I think the car is in limp mode. In HPT I have abuse mode off and Tq managment off. The car is starting off in second gear I think, reason for this belief is I can run 40 mph without it shifting, turning 4k rpm with a 3.73 gear. Also it takes alot of stall to get it moving from a stop. I looked at my tune and it should shift into second around 15 mph, which it does not. Also, when iIgive it slight throttle is is very responsive, but anyhting over 40ish% throttle it stutters and accelerates very sluggishly.

I have no MIL or codes. Most of the DTC's are turned on in HPT right now for troubleshooting purposes.

I have read that a converter will put the vehicle in reduced power mode without throwing the MIL. I do not have the DIC to tell if its in reduced power, but with the abuse mode off it should not be correct?

Any tricks for tuning in a stall? Or ideas?

I know this is kind of vauge, I will try to get an HPT log up tonight.

 

Codes p0756 and p1860 came up after I turned them on in HPT. Troubleshooting found no power at the trans. Fixed the issue and im back in business. Shifts hard and runs like a top.
