Default check engine and low oil light help!

i have a 4th gen interior swapped into my 3rd gen. i run a carburetor, no electronics.

ive had my dash in for sometime now and the lights are on. there were no bulbs to take out, so i figured if an ecm wasnt hooked up, they wouldnt light up.
i was wrong.
got the interior out right now for a rollbar install and now is the prime time to fix the issue.

the seach function isnt working all that great.

can anyone help me get rid of these lights?
ive been told to disassemble the cluster and crush an led. is there another method, or is this the correct way?
thank yoU!!!!!!!

Take the cluster apart and heat the LED leads on the back with a soldering iron and pull them out...
