Default Open Loop Question

If my car BLMs read one side full lean and one side full rich in closed loop are there any dangers of me just switching to an open loop tune all the time?

Are you talking about a speed density tune? Some love em some hate em. Things such as the ENS SENS fluse being blown, bad 02s, bad maf can cause the car to run in OL. This will usually make the car run rich, bad gas mileage and generally sluggish unless tuned for it. I would not run around in it for too long. Take it from someone who knows, just replaced my 02s and went back to CL and its a world of a difference.

O2 sensor would probably be the first place to start looking.
