computer...need tech help? Well, there is a local guy with a ls1, tranny, and an 04 computer out of a vette. he said he would rather have my 98 computer than the 04. are there any gains? losses? what is needed? prolly a stupid post, but im curious about this.

You cant use an 04 vet pcm in your 98, and he cant use your 98 pcm. You could use a 99-02 fbody pcm in yours but you would have to repin your harness for the swap also you would see better gains for tuning if you did the pcm swap.
