Knock Sensor

Have just completed a 98 LS1 into a 68 El Camino. 2 problems have arisen. The knock sensor code is coming up on my Diablo Predator, Might seem an obvious question but what would make it do this? What are the cures? Also in neutral the car idles at about 750rpm but in gear (4L60E) the car does 35mph without touching the accelerator. Are these problems related? Any help would be much appreciated.

IAC on the throdle body come make it do that(run at 35mph). i know the know sensor is under the intake so u could taje it off and make sure all the wires are good....?
