Default Speed Density on a NA motor

whe n tuning a NA motor for Speed Density will the stock ls1 MAP work or will i need a higher BAR one? i know with turbo's you might need a new one depending on the amount of boost your run but what about on NA

You just need a standard 1 Bar MAP. Only boosted apps need a 2 or 3 Bar MAP.
Just an fyi, it stands for Barometric pressure, which is 14.5 psi (approx.) at sea level. So unless you increase the pressure, such as boosted apps as you mention, a standard 1 Bar sensor is great.
