need help ls1 edit... converting m6 to auto

need help ls1 edit... converting m6 to auto Sorry, I am a nube.... only used edit to change simple stuff and had someone who knew what they were doing tune the car 3 years ago.....
I already have the pcm liscensed to my Ls1 edit and car is a m6 I am switching to an a4 and am curious if I should just read a stock a4 program and then save and dump into my computer or do I need to do something else? Will it screw with the vin if I have my computer flashed with a stock a4 tune with a tech II and then not allow me to program the PCM at all??
