SLP MAF? Do i need a retune?
On a local forum in ohio a tuner posted up a cust 00 formula with a slp maf and true dual only car. The purpose of the post was to show @ wot A/F was 11.7! It was putting down 253 rwhp and after tune and correct maf parameters 327 rwhp.
I had the car tuned when i first got it and it was all stock at the time. Then the K&N filter ate the MAF so i bought an slp one. Ive also got full exhaust with emissions deleted. Which i was told the car could be tuned better with it deleted.
Am i starving the engine? I dont want melt the pistons lol. I was going to invest in some drag radials but i am seriously thinking twice. What do you guys think?
EDIT: I would go back to the person who tuned it first but i dont think he tunes cars anymore.

I think you will need a re tune. I put one on my stock tune and it threw a code. The tuner i spoke to said the SLP mafs send a false signal to try to trick the computer. I jsut got rid of my SLP and bought a truck MAF it was much cheaper and if you buy the adapter from FTP you can get rid of the IAT sensor and run the one in the truck maf thats why you need the 3 to 5 pin adaptor.
