TPS readings

TPS readings I dont have a FSM with the range information. Last week my TPS values were on the "fritz". Using a real time monitor via the OBD2 connector my TPS was off. Sometimes when the throttle was at 0 it would range from 2-15% tHrottle. 2 days ago the TPS stopped reading for the most part. at zero it reads 5% and WOT it reads 10%.
I cheked the prints and I have my +5v GRAY wire to logic BLACK. I also checked the ohmic readings at the tps (not in circuit) From signal to high and signal to low while sweeping the TPS. The range was about 1K ohms to 5.5K ohms.
I think I lost the the signal back to the ECU. But just to be sure, what is the sweep ranges in ohms for the TPS?
