My Nightmare! Ok... so heres the deal. Been moving some stuff from my 01 to a 99 becasue the 01 it wrecked. I put the column from the 01 in the 99. Also moved the bcm from the 01 to the 99. Now my keyless entry works great. BUT, when i turn the key the gages flash for just a second, not even long enough to light up the milage, and then the sucurity light comes on. Any ideas? Is there grounds under the hood of the car i need to check? The car is currently a roller and there is no pcm in the car. First time messing with this kind of stuff, and its driving me crazy.

ok ...so i put the 99 column, and bcm back in the 99 car. The security light doesnt stay on now, but just for a second then goes off. BUT the cluster still does the same thing all the lights come on for just a second then go off. There is no ecm or wiring harness in the car. Does that need to go in before I will see any results with the cluster? Just weird since the lights and od are there for a split second and then gone. Please somebody with some knowledge chime on in!
