Backfire issues......

Have a 2000 M6 Z w/ Long tubes, 3" y to flowmaster collector @ 3.5" dumped, LS6 intake, Volant CAI and SLP MAF. During regular driving car runs good without backfire. During high speed driving on twisties holding the car in a gear while decelerating will result in a rather earth shaking backfire throught the exhaust. I am running stock AC platinum plugs with MSD wires and am curious if the plugs are holding too much heat and causing ignition of the mixture in the exhaust. It did the same thing with a ported stock MAF. Not sure where to start in troubleshooting the tune. I have heard with the SLP MAF to use a ZO6 MAF table and will help the tune but not sure if this is the remedy for my particular issue. All criticism is helpful seeing that im not a pro in any form. If your AF is correct in thoughs Gear hold decels if you will - ( and DFCO isnt coming on ) then you should take a look at your timing -

So if the A/F is wrong (running rich) would be a contributer. From posts and articles I have read the A/F for a N/A car should be 12.5 to 13:1 correct?
