Eliminate it. If you carefully go thru the whole thing you will find it has another end (pcm female pin) that is literally a "jumper" btw two pins on the pcm connector.
Kinda nice to keep as a spare pigtail (cut in half) pin that can be used for all sorts of interesting things with the right custom operating system.

Hi,
I do also a PCM swap from a 98 to 99 PCM and this 2 pins do not fit
(98) Red 69 BRN 1982 EVAP Purge Vacuum Switch Signal
(99) Red 45 WHT 1310 EVAP Canister Vent Valve Control
Is this the same function? Or what should be done ?
