Default Tuning for 230+ cam

I had a question on what needs tweaking on my tune. I have a 230+ cam in my car and it is tuned to maintain 1400 rpm's when im driving at low speeds I'm assuming to prevent the car from stalling.

The problem is it applies too much throttle to the point where it is slowing shifting to second and maybe even third gear. Sometimes I have to fight it with my brakes to keep the car from driving off.

I'd like to know what needs to be changed or what the official term is so I can have my tuner make a change when I take the car back in.

Thanks

throttle follower and throttle cracker, no reason it should be at 1400rpms... thats a bad tune imo. mine drops to 1000 everytime on a 244/242...

Too much base idle airflow. That or the blade is cracked too far open. Or a combination of both.

If you need to tell your tuner what to change, you may wanna change tuners.

Yeah its a pretty comon issue so your tuner should know if you tell him whats going on.

Thanks for the responses. There are quiet a few things I'd like to play around with in the tune. Thinking about buying HP Tuners to make changes in the convenience of my garage.
