Default efi live - lm1 hook up

Okay, I am planning on hooking my lm1 up to my efi live so I can record my afr. Just want to make sure I'm doing this right. First I have to update my lm1 to show 1v=10:1afr and 5v=20:1afr. Then I just hook up the analog cable from the lm1 to a 2 pin connector and plug it in all the way to the left on the efi live right? Do I ground that extra wire? Is their anything else I'm missing or doing wrong?

Doesnt your LM have a serial output? You should use that. Much more accurate and no voltage or grounding issue possibilities. Check out the EFILive forums for details.

So if I plug the serial port to my pc, my efi live will pick it up and read the afr.

the serial cable goes from the wideband to the v2. You will have to add the pid to your dashboard.

If you are using V1 analog is your only option.

"The LM-1's second analog output is factory programmed to provide a linear output between 1V and 2V for an AFR of 10 to 20"

This matches the EFILive predefined PIDs for the LM-1.
Connect the second analog output to Flashscan.
