Default Programmer question

My car came with a hypertech programmer and it was always installed but even when I would uninstall it didn't really make much difference. This past weekend I put in a cam... 224/230, .581/.588 on a 114. My question is should I leave the programming off until I get my computer tuned? What tables does the hypertech actually change? Also I had uninstalled the power programming for my nitrous because I had thought it had advanced the timing but with this cam would it be ok to spray a 100 shot with the programming if the cam needed the added timing? The car is running really good on the programmer but seems to be running a little too rich at lower rpms. Any advice?

anyone? I guess my main question is will it run better with or without the programmer with this cam and when I spray should I take the hypertech off or leave it with this cam?

"Take it off", get the car tuned for the cam and sell it. (the hypertech)
