HELP!!!! 2003 chevy silverado duramax
HELP!!!! 2003 chevy silverado duramax OK so my buddy has a 2003 Silverado 6.6 duramax and has banks power on it because when we tried to hit it with the diablo sport it just wouldnt work...
So we figured whatever, diablosport sucks, and put banks on it, and it worked pretty good, but i still thought something was up as it didnt seem the torque converter was locking or anything...
Fast forward a year and I am into tuning with HP tuners and am getting pretty damn good with it, I offer to tune his truck, I go to read the computer and it gives a boot loader error, so Im like wtf? And scan the truck for DTCs
[TCM] U1003 - Loss of serial communications for class 2 devices (History) (Immature)
[Brake] C0550 - ECU Malfunction (SES) (History) (Immature)
[Unknown] U1003 - Loss of serial communications for class 2 devices (History) (Immature)
[Restraints] B0090 - Active switch voltage out of range (History) (Immature)
[Restraints] U1016 - Loss of Class 2 Communication with VCM (History) (Immature)
[Entertainment] U1000 - Class 2 Communication Malfunction (History) (Current) (Immature)
[HVAC] B0229 - (History) (Current) (Immature)
Wtf???? Anyone have any clue about these codes? I know this isnt a duramax forum but there are a lot of very smart people on this forum and hopfully they can help!! The SES isnt on and banks doesnt see any codes, Ive tried to clear these codes many times and they wont clear.

do not attempt to Diagnose U DTC's unless they are current DTC's. They are a waste your time. I could go into a very long list of reasons you could get a U DTC. Just a incorrect power mode could cause them. Power Moding is how the modules turn on and the order they turn on.
The C0550 is a software nominally/error. The EBCM need to be updated to solve it.
