Default Hypertech power programmer 3...junk???

My buddie put 373s in his car the other day and we bought a hypertech programmer to recalibrate the speedo and odometer and we put the programmer on and changed it to 373 and put in the tire height and went to test drive it and we couldnt get out of the driveway because as soon as you move ten feet forward or backwards the car dies. it fires right back up but it will do it again. We put the stock tune back in it and it drives fine. then we put the tune back on it and it did the same thing it will just die after ten or fifteen feet. Has anyone else experienced it or know what the heck is going on?!?! any help would or input would be appriciated! Thanks

Can the Hypertech make selective change or must you upload the whole tune?
If the car was tuned before and you uploaded a tune that isn't compatible with
the car's mods then this might be the problem.

Yes, Hypertech programmers are junk. Mine is sitting in a box in my room because I would feel guilty giving it away because it is less than worthless.

You can make selections and the car has never been tuned before. Any other suggestions???

If you want to use a handheld programmer go with the diablo sport tuner. You could also have it professionally tuned. If you are in NJ check out TTP.
