Was doing the wire location mod on the Ss to hide the 0ga and the ugly *** engine connectors that run down the passenger side of ls1 fbodies, and all went smooth except for having some roommate help .. Bottom line is there are 3 connecotrs that are involved in this relocation , a 5 wire one a 8 wire one and a 9 wire one.


which opens this three part question ?


Problem with 5 wire one is SOLVED !!!


Problem with the 8 wire connector is there are 2 Pink wires (B) and (E) positions. on 8 pin conector now I couldnt trace these back to any set pcm location as i believe they are common because i would get a continuity reading on most pcm pins but from the master pcm pin out list only 2 pink wires or red 63 (trany range signal A) and on blue (19 ign positive voltage )but I need some advise there




And now for the real pain


On the 9 pin connector there ar 6 wires in question

2 green, 2 blue , 2 pink (green J & C) (blue E & H) (pink A and G) that also seem to be every where on the Pcm so trying to corolate conector loaction (letter) back to Pcm pin # so that i can verify done right and have car start again,,,

Dont you have an auto part store that can give you pin outs?

They should be able to give you a wiring diagram or something to help.

The PCM & you connectors in question full pin out would do the trick.
Definetly a 1 person job.

my 99 book says:

c100 black 10-pin
a. pink- power feed from inj fuse 9
b. grn/wht- a/c comp rly cntl
c. dk grn- a/c comp solenoid feed
d. gry- 5v ref voltage feed
e. dk blu- tps signal
f. not used
g. pink- pwr feed from ing fuse
h. dk blu- coolant fan rly
j. dk grn- coolant fan rly
k. blk- sensor return

c101 gray 10-pin
a. yel/blk- vats starter enable rly
b. pnk- fuse output ign 1 type iii fuse
c. brn- idle speed motor retract
d. grn/wht- idle speed motor extend
e. pnk/blk- fuse output ign 1 type iii fuse
f. not used
g. orn- fuse out batt iii fuse
h. blk/wht eng cntr mod ground
j. ppl/wht- ign feed
k gry/blk- ign retard signal

thanks thath helped out quite abit, but me and my multimeter have been spending way too much time together , Im very conifdert everthing is correct except the following 4 wires. I guess im gonna have to try to trace these out but if anyone knows where these terminate or have any diagram or any advise id apprecite it


c100 black 10-pin
a. pink- power feed from inj fuse 9
g. pink- pwr feed from ing fuse

c101 gray 10-pin

b. pnk- fuse output ign 1 type iii fuse
e. pnk/blk( mine is plain pink )- fuse output ign 1 type iii fuse

seems my pcm
is not getting juice because of these 4 and ive double checked all fuses adn swapped out all relays under the hood and by drivers side ..

there might be more thats all i can see right now
