Running rich....how much lost hp??

Running rich....how much lost hp?? Ok after getting a base tune, the place didn't drive the car, didn't put it on the dyno, didn't do anything. What they told me is that they took the stock fuel tables and added 15% more fuel, they changed a couple things like idle at 900 and removed rear O2's, egr, air etc.. Nothing done to the timing as far as I know. When I run the car it puffs out black smoke telling me it's running rich, the tailpipes are now covered in black (on the inside of course) whereas before they never were. My question is that it felt a lot faster up top before the tuning then it does now. How much hp could I possibly have lost with this ummm bad tuning? Any idea's?

i also want to know this. The approx. horsepower lost by adding 7-15%.
FYI, 15% is a FAT mixture, unless you were running lean as hell. Adding 5% with my predator took me to a 11.8:1 A/F.

Where can I get an Autotap and how much are they. I'd like to be able to check out everything my car is doing. What can they do and what exactly are they, I've never seen or used one. Thanx

AutoTap is software you use to monitor your car. Only bad thing is you have to have a laptop to make any use of it. There are some other ways to monitor. I think Predator will monitor some things but not near as much as AutoTap. If you do have a laptop and don't mind spending a couple hundred dollars on this, I would recomend EFILive. That program is specifically for the LS1.
