Default handheld tuner

Just curious if anyone has had any experience with Hypertech tuners. I've got that tune in my 98 Fbod. Seems pretty strong and the tweaks are nice, but I'm wondering how that would compare to a custom tune....?

Handheld vs. Custom Tune...Not even close! I tuned a guys car using his exact personal calibrations from his Hypertech just to show him the difference. He sold his Hypertech next day on here just to pay me for the upgrades I made to his MAXED out Hypertech tune. Junk it and invest in Hp Tuners Pro/Wideband.

Default re: tune

Yeah, I've gotta finish my build before I do the tune (no point in dyno tuning it, then adding heads, intake manifold, headers, etc). I'm going with an HP tune when I get done. I got 22HP more with the HP custom tune over the Superchips handheld programmer in my '07 Silverado. Total of 42HP over stock!
