Spark Retard Signal wire???
Spark Retard Signal wire??? What does this wire do? It goes from the PCM connector C2 pinout #53, Gray/Black wire. To the ING RETARD pinout #19 on the Traction Control Module. I am eliminating the ABS and Traction Control on my car. Does this wire send a signal to the PCM telling it to retard timing. Do I need to remove this wire from the PCM or what? Hell. I'm even confusing myself. Thanks George
I can's say for sure but I thunk it tells the PCM the the TCS has detected wheel slip
and the PCM will pull xx amount of timing at xx RPM.

Yes, I'm removing TCS and ABS. Do I need to just remove the wire from the PCM or ground it out or what. I'm in the process of removing all wires I don't need from the engine harness and PCM. I just don't want this to pull timing.
I have head of some people just pulling the fuse on the
ASR/TCS module to "delete" it.
I bet if you just unplug it that will be good enough.
