downloading a tune How easy would it be to download Settings for a ls1 with full exhaust and ud pulleys. Ahh ram air hood with lid as well. Friend has hptuners thought maybe I could get a basic tune to hold me over till I get the rear and trans. Done. Any input would be great

If your friend does have HPTuners, he can log into the Tune Repository and look around. But don't just copy a tune. What works for one car might not work for another...

thats exactly what i'm tryin to find out lol. just wanted to get a tune that would be better than a stock tune with what mods i currently have. that and the SES light just bugs me. id let my friend tune it but to be honest i dont really know if the guy knows what hes doing. he originally bought hptuners for his colorado to try to get better times at the track with it

My car has pretty much the same mods, and the only tuning I've had done is to adjust for the bigger torque converter and injectors.. I'm about to hit 10s 
But if all you want is the SES light turned off and other basic stuff, that is easy.

i just dont wanna pay 5-700 dollars for the local shop to tune it only to have to get it tuned again once i get my elec. water pump trans and rearend etc. Marines dont make a ton of money lol. Want things done right but cheap at the same time, so im puttin thought into mods etc and askin tons of questions before taking the next step
