good question. a similar question came up elsewhere in here. something about the build/software versions matching but that was auto to auto. if you are putting it in a non-computer car (ie with BCM, ABS, etc), i don't see why it wouldn't. you may have to disable some of the tests that are run.

Thanks !

So i guess the wiring harness will fit the LS6 then (since GM sells the LS6 as a replacement for a LS1 in corvettes etc i guess thats quite clear)

I've been in contact with "Speed Scene Wiring" and they told me this when i asked them about this:

// THE LS1 WIRE HARNESS MOD IS 455.00 AND THE COMPUTER PROGRAM THAT REMOVES THE VEHICLE ANTI THEFT AS WELL AS ADDING 26HP IS $295.00. PLEASE INCLUDE 35.00 FOR RETURN FREIGHT. //

Sounds painfully expensive... can't i do this reprogramming myself with carputings LS-1-Edit ?

Is there some where one can get hold of the wiring schematics for the LS1/LS6 in a Camaro,T/A or Corvette...any good books to read ?
