PE tuning after ported heads

I currently have a cam only car tuned w/LS1 Edit. Once I put heads on will a/f at WOT be effected? Could I run at the track w/o tuning or should I richen it up a little to be on the safe side, untill I can get it on a dyno? thanx

More than likely it will be affected.I've seen them go either way.Too rich and too lean depending on the Heads.

Might run a touch lean IMO, I would borrow a MAF T and have that handy. After all, you will make more power and thus use more gas.

Yeah that's what I figured. If I make it slightly rich w/edit, I can lean it out at the track w/the MAFT.

Another question...Would the maf keep the a/f ratio the same, so I wouldn't need additional tuning? Or is WOT tuning more like speed density?
