Default 88% ls2

I have installed an '07 corvette motor into my '71 Camaro, and modified the original corvette harness to work, but now, using HPtuners, I am getting codes indicating fuel tank pressure, fuel level, and evap problems. I noticed that my tps is limited to 88%. Is this because of the lack of fuel level input? what should I do? Should I loop a wire to the fuel level signal to indicate a full tank?

Go to Engine Diagnostics - DTCs

In the error mode column, click on the words and a drop down arrow will appear, click the arrow and choose 3 - No error reported.

I believe all of the electronic throttle controls read 88% at WOT.

I have disabled the mil light codes, but am just concerned that I am not getting 100% throttle, although I haven't physically checked that.

From HPTuners forum.

"You need to log the ETC % and/or other ETC pids for the correct %. For some reason GM interprets the SAE TPS PID as absolute voltage % (ie. the % of 5V on the TPS sensor, which at WOT is something like 4.39V or 88%). Don't ask me why, i just work here...

If you log the ETC or Pedal PIDs you will see they go to 100% as expected."

I noticed the same thing on my LS4 only it stops at 81% (in my 08 Impala SS). It was freaking me out that the TPS was bad - though I suspected maybe it was a newb tuner problem.

Thanks for the info.

I have the same problem at the other end - it stops at 21% - I'll check the other PIDs to confirm that part also.
