how to turn off engine light "hptuner"

my engine light is on and i was wanting to know how to delete the engine light. im running hp tuners. thanks

Well first off since you have a HP Tuner what DTC code(s) are getting thrown? Once you figure that out and IF you still want to disable the DTC, here is the general processs...

1. Open your tune.
2. Go into Engine Diag
3. Select the DTC's tab
4. Find the DTC and set it to no light or disable it entirely.
5. write the tune to the car

But for the love of god... don't just disable a DTC (or all DTCs) just because you don't want the light to come on! There are only a few reasons to disable a DTC, the most common reason is after installing headers without CATs or rear O2's.
