Tune Questions

Tune Questions Well after tons of stressing out over whats wrong with my car and I have looked into every scanner and diagnostic piece of equipment I could find, I decided to get HP Tuners. I had LT1 edit for my last car and I pretty much just did the basics. Anyway the car pings really bad no matter what brand gas I run(always93) and at idle it will burn your eyes and poor gas mileage. Have a little 224/224 114 cam longtubes, ls6 intake, and most of the bolt ons. I downloaded a few tunes from the repository(thanks HP) and did a comparison and looks as if the tuner fked up the tune, raised the idle and the graphs look like skateboard ramp, and looks like there is way too much timing in the low octane tables. I am learning and I am going to work on one thing in a time, but If anyone can take a look and tell if it is screwed up really bad or if I am just paranoid. Thanks in advance, this seems like one of the few sections where most of the people are civil with each other!
If anyone looks at please let me know if need to just dump it and start with a factory tune and work my way up or if this one is salvable
